Before founding BartonRock Guy was CEO of two mid-sized recruitment and executive search businesses. Being responsible for commercial success and direction of travel, he personally experienced the intricacies of making the right executive hire in a talent-short market including within digital.
Guy’s recruitment and executive search career spans over 20 years working internationally in the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore handling senior digital recruitment and executive search across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US.
My passion for lunching NewlandRock is to bring me closer to my clients. To make a difference in the effectiveness of leaders, their impact and overall success.

Before launching my own Leadership Effectiveness organisation, NewlandRock, I spent 20 years working with businesses advising on talent-centric strategies, leadership effectiveness and organisational development. This career also took me overseas, working and living internationally – Asia, Australia, Ireland & UK. Spending significant time within fast-growing markets and advising businesses who were accelerating through change.
Caroline brings 15 years’ experience as a leadership specialist & executive coach. As an executive development expert to CEO’s and senior leaders of FTSE 100 and other leading firms across Europe. You’ll work with Caroline on a 1:1 basis and group, team effectiveness projects.
Prior to starting an independent consulting career, Caroline gained significant experience working for Human Resource Consulting firms in Ireland and the UK. Her eight years as a leadership expert with Hay Group, included accreditations for a number of leading leadership effectiveness models and psychometrics. More recently acquiring certification for Lumina Spark and Emotional Intelligence – ECR360.

Hayley is an insightful and energetic facilitator. She brings an empathetic approach, alongside a wealth of coaching qualifications, tools and techniques to her coaching work.
Prior to becoming a coach, Hayley worked for 15 years in the Digital Sector; working in fast-paced, creative environments In this ever-changing, dynamic environment.

Hayley holds an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Brighton, is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), a member of the International Coaching Federation, holds qualifications in Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), Firework Career Coaching and is a qualified Lumina Spark Practitioner.
Jill’s expertise delivers change and supports culture transformation through people – working at all levels to drive individual, team and organisational effectiveness.

Jill has successfully delivered across a number of sectors/industries – in particular Health, Life Sciences, Housing and Local Government and partners with BartonRock across assessment and development campaigns.
Mark brings a balance view to his advisory work. With 35 years’ experience split between in-house business roles and external senior consulting – he ‘gets it’ from both sides.
You’ll work with Mark across your people strategy when pay and performance is on the agenda. He brings a particular focus on the strategic relationship between organisational performance, individual performance and reward.
His vast expertise include – reward strategy & governance, – executive compensation, – incentive design & management, – job measurement & organisation design.
